Mi ricordo sempre la definizione dello Statuto del nostro caporle: Lo Statuto e quella cose per cui si fa la festa tutti gli anni. E infatti l’unica cosa a cui puo servire visto che quando piace alla canaglia di Roma esso puo esser abrogato. Io non so se abbian fatto piu opera rivoluzionaria i siciliani bruciando i casotti del dazio o quei di Roma abolendo lo Statuto. Ce ne ricorderemo nel giorno del giudizio che io credo e spero molto vicino.
