Onde ho pensato di scrivere a Chicago perche mi estendessero la lettera di credito ad una banca di St. Paul. Essi invece mi risposero che non avendo corrispondenti nel Minnesota non ptoevan farlo, cosi io mi rimasi coi mie 85 dollari dovetti smetter l’idea di far lo Yellowstone Park in carrozza e cio fu un gran bene, come vedri dopo.

Instead they told me that without having connections in Minnesota already, they would not be able to do that, and so I was left with my 85 dollars and needed to put a halt to the idea of doing Yellowstone in a carriage, and this ended up being a good thing, as you’ll see in a minute.
