La mattina dopo partimmo alla volta di Washington prendendo un treno della compagnia della Pennsylvania. Il biglietto nell’unica classe da New York a Chicago via Washington-Pittsburgh costo 20 dollari e ci diede il diritto a fermarci 10 giorni a Washington e Pittpsburg. usufruendo di questa facolta ci siamo appunto fermati nella capitale degli Stati Uniti. Del mondo di viaggiare sulle ferrovie americane e di qello che abbiam fatoo a Washington e a Baltimora ti parlero un altro giorno.
The next morning we left ontime from Washington, taking a Pennsylvania company train. The first class ticket from New York to Chicago through Washington-Pittsburgh cost 20 dollars e enabled us to stop for 10 days in Washington and Pittsburgh. By using this kind of a ticket we were about to stop just in the capital of the United States.
